The Meaning Behind the Name
'ami kai is a Hawaiian word for a sea creature that I deeply related with when branching out to start my own business; a shrimp. After more than a decade of successfully climbing the corporate ladder working for and with Fortune 500 companies along the way, I found myself once again at the bottom of the food chain. Instead of being a moderately sized fish in a somewhat small pond I am now a small shrimp swimming in a large pond surrounded by very large fish. It has made every day more interesting than the last and I continue to enjoy the journey!
